Additionally, we manage and facilitate maintenance departments and onsite projects ranging from shut down periods to permanent placements. In essence, we take over your contractual obligations as we carry the risk relating to IOD regulations and Health and Safety compliance.
We also provide training to workers and carry all legislative entitlements. By using us as a supplier, your BEE scorecard will benefit from our BEE level 2 status and ownership.
Fabrication
Full range of fabrication services, ranging from fabricating highly specialised equipment, conveyors and tanks to large steel structures using carbon, stainless steel and aluminium.
Pipelines
The Engineering Hub designs, manufactures and installs water, acid, high pressure, steam and condensate pipelines.
Coded Welding
The Engineering Hub is accredited to offer coded welding services for carbon and stainless steel. We pride ourselves on producing the best quality welding, never deviating from the accredited Engineering Hub Procedure.
Additionally, we offer aluminium welding services.
Maintenance
We manage and facilitate maintenance departments and onsite projects ranging from shut down projects to permanent placements. This includes supplying artisans, meeting maintenance KPI’s of customers, managing preventative maintenance, breakdowns and even offering you the option to outsource all maintenance functions to The Engineering Hub.

Mechanical Design
Our in-house design team offers customers designing and drawing services, including P&ID, engineering and mechanical drawings. Mechanical designing encompasses a range of activities related to the creation of mechanical systems and components. This includes the development of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), which are used to show the flow of materials and information through a system. It also involves the creation of engineering drawings, which specify the dimensions, materials, and other details necessary for the manufacture of mechanical parts. Mechanical drawings are used to communicate the design intent and provide instructions for fabrication and assembly. Mechanical designing plays a critical role in many industries, including manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and more. Electrical Design
Electrical design is a vital part of product development processes. All of the Electrical systems we design are done by industry experts that have a keen eye for problem-solving and experience in the manufacturing industry. We have the capacity to offer both on-site and new systems development services with excellent project management from our Team Engineers. We also comply to strict ISO 9001 requirements and certification on all of our projects.
3D Scanning
We comply with strict high-quality control throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring product compliance.
Measuring equipment include 3D scanning and CMM measuring that allow us to do dimensional analysis, inspection and quality control in diverse applications.
Portable measurement allow us to measure various parts and tooling while in production, reducing manufacturing time and increasing efficiency.
Plastic Welding
We provide plastic welding services in PVC (15-250mm), Poly-prop (15-150mm) and HTP (15-100mm). Plastic welding is a process of joining plastic materials using heat and pressure to create a strong and permanent bond. Vapour Abrasive Blasting
Vapour abrasive or Wet abrasive blasting is a more efficient way of removing coatings, contaminants, corrosion and residues from hard surfaces. It is similar to dry sand blasting but introduces moisture into the blast media prior to impacting the surface.
The advantage of vapour abrasive blasting over sandblasting is that it reduces dust, allowing operators to work in a wide range of environments with minimal setup and cleanup costs. The result is a cleaner and more consistent finish that is ready to coat, with no embedded particles or clinging dust.
