MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic literacy and numeracy (Grade 10 or equivalent preferred).

• No prior machine experience required

DUTIES

Safe and Efficient Operation of Production Machinery
• Load materials or components into machines according to set configurations.
• Operate machinery strictly in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Safely remove finished or partially finished items after each cycle.
• Monitor machine performance and report any unusual noises or faults immediately.
Accurate Identification and Reporting of Product Defects
• Perform visual inspections on components immediately after removal from the machine.
• Identify and separate defective, damaged, or malformed items from acceptable products.
• Report recurring defects to the Line Supervisor to reduce material wastage.
Efficient Material Handling and Workspace Maintenance
• Maintain continuous material flow to avoid machine downtime.
• Neatly stack, pack, or palletize finished components in designated areas.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and free from hazards at all times.

Compliance with Safety Standards and Regulations
• Operate machinery using all required safety features, such as guards and safety controls.
• Wear all mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Follow all factory safety procedures and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
5S Standards and Site Housekeeping
• Uphold 5S principles: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the site.
