MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 10
• A valid Driver’s Licence advantageous

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in the company’s line of engineering work would be advantageous

DUTIES

• Material & Tool Availability
• Always ask about what is needed next and check if your team requires any other assistance.
• Accurate and Neat Cutting of Materials
• Get drawings from the Artisan.
• Make sure you understand what needs to be done.
• Check with the Artisan that the plan is going to work.
• Make sure the finished product is neat and complete.
• Housekeeping & Work Area Cleanliness
• Talk through and understand the task/s ahead.
• Prepare all the tools and equipment required for the job.
• Ensure that materials are available and prepared for the task/s ahead.
• Communicate with the Artisan of any uncertainties or when challenges arise.
• Health, Safety and Environment
• Adhere to all health and safety policies, procedures, and standards always.

• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to wear the required PPE.

• 5S Standards and Site Housekeeping

• Uphold 5S principles: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the site.

OTHER / BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCE

• Communication skills
• Flexible and Adaptable
• Time management skills
