• Constructing assemblies from raw materials e.g. trunking and electrical panels.
• Using raw material to manufacture a component to be used in an electromechanical system.
• Experience in trunking, wiring of single and 3 phase systems as well as wiring of safety circuits.
• Read Manufacturing and Assembly Drawings.
• Must be able to read and interpret EPLAN drawings.
• Read the measurements to plan the layout and procedure.
• Must learn to interpret P&ID symbols from the drawings.
• Ensure that all jobs are executed according to the drawings provided and in a timeous manner and of excellent quality.
• Ability to cut, drill, rivet, mount, and fit components together.
• Cutting of materials with power tools to match measurements.
• Operate drilling tools or related equipment to mount components.
• Ensure all manufactured and installed components are straight and square, where

applicable.

• Continually check that fabricated and assembled components meet the highest quality standard.
• Ensure that the quality of the work is of the highest standard by the use of precision and measuring equipment to check for

tolerances
• Ensure that tools and project materials are available for the tasks ahead
• Talk through and understand the task/s ahead.
• Prepare all the tools and equipment required for the job.
• Ensure that materials are available and prepared for the task/s ahead.
• Communicate with the Artisan about any uncertainties and when challenges arise.
• Assist with Administration Responsibilities.
• Housekeeping.
