US Site Manager

CONTRACT

Job Description

As a Site Manager for The Engineering HUB, the person will be responsible for adhering to and enforcing both internal and external protocols as defined by The Engineering HUB Production Systems. The Site Manager will prioritise the company's interests, ensuring compliance with The Engineering HUB’s rules and policies in all external interactions.
The role involves overseeing the assembly of tooling, fixtures, and pneumatic systems, signing off on invoices based on the progress of suppliers or material deliveries, and ensuring that safety practices are strictly followed. The Site Manager will report directly to the project manager and will ensure all team members are aligned with the company’s goals and safety standards.

 

Profile:

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5 years of experience in the automation or automotive industry
• 3 years of experience in a Site Manager role
• Familiarity with customer standards such as those of BMW, MB, VW, Tesla, among others, is an advantage
• Strong communication skills across all levels and excellent organisational abilities
• OSHA Certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Organise and manage manpower to ensure project activities are executed according to the approved schedule
• Oversee site teams and third-party subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed on time and in accordance with customer safety standards
• Maintain and update manpower resource plans, ensuring effective personnel management
• Supervise tool delivery, pneumatic installations, and material tracking at the site
• Conduct daily inspections of manpower, installation progress, and team performance
• Ensure adherence to The Engineering HUB’s safety and quality standards
• Coordinate the assembly of production lines following the project management plan
• Act as the primary point of communication with customers
• Track on-site shipments and maintain purchase records
• Apply and uphold The Engineering HUB’s Quality Management standards
• Manage requests for pneumatic and raw materials
• Report installation progress and any field-related issues to the project manager
• Work closely with logistics, purchasing, and project management teams
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
