MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program required (Red Seal Certification) or a qualification in Electrical Engineering from a registered institution.
• Valid Driver’s Licence Code 08.
• Successful completion of a mandatory competency assessment.
• Certified to sign COC’s advantageous.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven 5 years of experience as an Electrician in a similar industry.
• 2-3 years’ experience in the field working on Heavy Industrial equipment.

DUTIES

• Constructing assemblies from raw materials e.g. electrical panels, trunking, and safety circuit.
• Read Manufacturing & Assembly Drawings.
• Ability to cut, drill, rivet, mount, and fit components together.
• Continually check that the components that are assembled meet the highest quality standard.
• Ensure that tools and project materials are available for the tasks ahead.
• Housekeeping.
• Adhere to Health and Safety.
