Job Description

As a Mechanical Installation Supervisor at The Engineering HUB, the person will be responsible for following and enforcing all internal and external guidelines established by The Engineering HUB Production Systems. The Supervisor will represent The Engineering HUB’s interests, ensuring that external requirements do not conflict with company regulations and policies. This role includes overseeing the mechanical installation on the production line, supporting the Site Manager with resource forecasting and planning, and ensuring that safety standards are consistently maintained.

Profile:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical Installation
• 5 years of experience in the automation or automotive industry
• 3 years of experience as a Supervisor
• Familiarity with customer standards, such as those of BMW, MB, VW, Tesla, among others, is advantageous
• OSHA Certification and Professional License
• Certified to operate various heavy equipment, such as Forklifts/Manlifts, etc.
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign resources along the production line and execute activities in accordance with the approved project timeline
• Coordinate the assignment of internal teams and subcontractors based on their skills and capabilities
• Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and in line with customer safety standards
• Assist the Site Manager with resource forecasting and planning
• Support the Site Manager in tracking tool and material deliveries on site
• Oversee the mechanical and pneumatic installation of the production line
• Manage the provision of materials to installation teams and ensure the consistent update of required consumables and materials
• Ensure adherence to The Engineering HUB’s safety and quality standards
• Report installation progress and team performance to the Site Manager
• Assist the Site Manager in keeping project documentation current
• Proficient in reading installation drawings and coordinating workload accordingly
