Job Description

Mechanical Installation Personnel at The Engineering HUB will be responsible for adhering to all internal and external guidelines set by The Engineering HUB Production Systems. In this role, you will represent The Engineering HUB’s interests, ensuring compliance with its regulations and policies when dealing with external requirements. Your duties will include the assembly of tools, devices, and pneumatic equipment according to specified standards while ensuring full compliance with safety regulations, both those set by The Engineering HUB and the customer.

 

Profile:

• Preferred: qualified artisan
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills
• Required safety certifications
• Preferred: Certification to operate various heavy equipment, such as forklifts and manlifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain certifications necessary for the operation of heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, manlifts)
• Demonstrate intermediate welding skills
• Meet or exceed the minimum required skills as detailed in the skills matrix below


Appointment/s will include the principles of Employment Equity.
