EXPERIENCE
• 3 years’ experience in Health & Safety
DUTIES
Promoting and maintaining safety in the workplace
• Ensure that all staff are inducted into H&S and remain current if anything changes
• Ensure the workplace complies with all H&S regulations.
Ensure that all Health and Safety policies and procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated, communicated and trained.
• Accountable for your work, time, and delivery.
• Meet required standards as per operating procedures.
Continuously strive to enhance individual contribution to add to team efforts.
• Initiate resolution of operational problems within your sphere of control.
• Deliver results as per individual KPIs.
• Executes tasks timeously.
• Ensure the company meets its statutory obligations in all areas of health, safety and welfare at
work, including statutory training reporting.
• Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
• Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety and welfare at work legislation and communicate relevant changes.
• Provide regular reports to Management.

• Planning to include routine and non-routine tasks.
• Schedule tasks to get work done.
• Sorting, set in order, shine, sustain and standardize on site.
Safeguarding the well-being of employees and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for everyone.
Identify operational problems and escalate.
• Exercise judgement within the technical area of work.
• Ensure all facts are known.
Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and safe working procedures are managed, and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
• Ensure safety inspections are done, daily and weekly.
• Update risk assessments, as per project progress.
• Ensure all employees are trained on company safe work procedures
Ensure that all Health & Safety Files are always up to date and with consistent quality.
Ensure the H & S files stay up to date as per project scope.
• Meet required standards as per operating procedures.
• Continuously strive to enhance individual contribution to add to team efforts.
• Initiate resolution of operational problems within your sphere of control.

• Executes tasks timeously.
Ensure all IODs are documented, reported, investigated and recommend improvements to implement.
• Fill in flash report and liaise with local urgent care.
• Investigate and recommend improvement as preventative measures.
• Initiate resolution of operational problems within your sphere of control.
• Executes tasks timeously.
