MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Formal Tertiary education & Red Seal Trade-tested and experienced in a field related to our industry are essential.
• Driver’s License Code B & above advantageous.
• Forklift License advantageous
• Scissor Lift License advantageous
• Overhead Crane License advantageous

EXPERIENCE

• 10 years of trade experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Skilled in CAD.

DUTIES

Ensures millstones are met to timing plan
• Planning to include routine and non-routine tasks.
• Schedule tasks to get work done.
• Maintain a diary system or schedule.

Managing the budget with in planned costing
• Liaise with Site Manager during equipment installation.

• Liaise with team members regarding materials, equipment usage, and job completion.
• Ensure workshop staff understand job specifications and time frames for the job.
• Support workshop staff in the completion of jobs and development of skills.
• Timekeeping management.

• Customer satisfaction (skill, timing and quality)
• Work cooperatively with site management staff to meet customer needs.
• Measure and quote jobs as and when required.
• Sign off job cards and timesheets as required.
• The first point of contact for returned work, verifying the accuracy of job cards, receiving, reporting, and other administrative duties.
• Assist with design reviews and drawings where possible.

Employee Satisfaction, morale of the staff and productivity
• Take full charge of the workforce.
• Unlock / Lockup, machinery on/off, lights on/off, of premises with assistance from the staff as delegated.
• Keep all workshop materials neatly stored and ready for the following process.
• Identifying and implementing areas of improvement in conjunction with the management team.

Quality of workmanship number of reworks
• Good understanding of installation process.
• Ensure all materials are installed to the correct standard provided by the customer.

Adhere to health and safety requirements
• Ensure all H&S (Health and Safety) procedures are adhered to including Permit to Work.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements: as per training, policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work, etc.

• Actively seek to improve the safety culture.
• Report any H&S issues/accidents/near misses to your account manager immediately.

Maintaining 5S standards on site
• Continually improve the layout and cleanliness of the facility in conjunction with the management team.
• Implement and maintain 5S. Sorting, set in order, shine, sustain and standardize on
site.
